The AED Information Technology Applications Center is a leader in applying
information and communication technology (ICT) to accelerate development.
Building on our diverse expertise with using ICT to achieve organizational
objectives, we develop solutions that help people leverage the most appropriate
mix of technologies for their needs.
Because our staff has broad experience in international development, we are able to offer
solutions across sectors, including in education, health, economic growth, trade, agriculture,
and democracy and governance.
Our Mission
To apply ICT in innovative and sustainable ways to address development challenges in all sectors and
around the world.
In collaboration with local, international and private sector partners, we help
our clients analyze how different information and communication technologies can enable them to
achieve their development objectives and design the most effective ways to apply these technologies
in the context of specific projects, local realities and diverse cultures.
